Blocked the Entrance
A brand-new Planeta Varimat was being installed at Knauer in Dettingen an der Erms when the troubleshooter’s own machine quit beside the customer’s entrance: the red Corvette cranked, had fuel—and absolutely no spark.
The fault turned out to be inside the HEI ignition coil. Peter Jonas’s rental car became the parts-chasing vehicle, KTS American Car Parts supplied the replacement, and the Corvette was back out of everybody’s way. Meanwhile, a completely different story was developing inside the plant.
